A Ghost Story for Christmas<\/a><\/strong><\/em> was a series of annual British short television films originally broadcast on BBC One between 1971 and 1978, and revived sporadically by the BBC<\/a> since 2005. The majority of the stories were from the collections of classic English ghost stories. Authors like M.R. James and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re definitely worth checking out, and it turns out a lot of them are online. You can also see them on Britbox<\/a>. A Warning to the Curious<\/em> is particular well done favorite of mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revived series from 2005-present<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The series ended in 1978. Maybe because of the two less than stellar final two entries: Stigma <\/em>and The Ice House<\/em>. Sadly, most of these are not online, but you might be able to find them via BBC and BritBox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
