I recently hosted a night in which my friends and I sat and watched a pile of the over 25 Treehouse of Horror episodes. Since watching them all was impossible, we picked 9 of the best ones<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bart fights off a demonic little gremlin aka the Twilight Zone episode Nightmare at 20,000ft<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR\u00a0VI: HOMER\u00b3,\u201d SEASON 7, EPISODE 6<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n

<\/center>\u00a0The episode where Homer turns 3D and contains numerous awesome mathematical easter eggs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR V: TIME AND PUNISHMENT,\u201d SEASON 6, EPISODE 5<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n

<\/center>Homer invents a time toaster and is totally unprepared for the consequences of time travel.<\/p>\n
\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR\u00a0VI, NIGHTMARE ON EVERGREEN TERRACE,\u201d SEASON 7, EPISODE 6<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n

<\/center>This homage to Nightmare on Elm Street sees groundskeeper Willie as Freddy Krueger. Equal parts funny and creepy, plus the Stephen King\u2019s It<\/em>\u201d twist ending of Spider-Willie is just perfect<\/p>\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR III: CLOWN WITHOUT PITY,\u201d SEASON 2, EPISODE 3<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n
Another Twilight Zone homage to the episode Living Doll <\/a>as a possessed Krusty doll. As far as I\u2019m concerned, this segment was also the pop culture moment that put the term \u201cfrogurt\u201d into the lexicon.<\/div>\n
\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR XIX: IT\u2019S THE GRAND PUMPKIN, MILHOUSE,\u201d SEASON 20, EPISODE 4<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n

<\/center>This\u00a0<\/strong>2008 episode is a clear satire of It\u2019s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown<\/em>. It also has a fantastic take on Mad Men<\/em>\u00a0and an Election Day bit on a malfunctioning touch-screen voting machine that mocked the Florida election.<\/p>\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR\u00a0VII: CITIZEN KANG,\u201d SEASON 8, EPISODE 1<\/h2>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n

The installment from this particular edition where Kang and Kodos come to earth and impersonate Clinton and Dole in their thwarted effort to take over earth. It was brilliant.<\/p>\n

\u201cTREEHOUSE OF HORROR I: THE RAVEN,\u201d SEASON 2, EPISODE 3<\/h2>\n

Homer gives a rendition of Edgar Allen Poe\u2019s classic tale of terror The Raven<\/em>. Homer as its protagonist, Marge as his lost Lenore, and Bart as the interloping raven.Narration by James Earl Jones.<\/p>\n
