For example, Mornington Crescent\u00a0is an improvisational game featured in the\u00a0BBC Radio 4<\/a>\u00a0comedy panel show\u00a0I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue<\/a><\/i>, a series which satirizes\u00a0panel games<\/a>.\u00a0The game consists of each panelist in turn announcing a landmark or street, most often a\u00a0tube station\u00a0on the\u00a0London Underground\u00a0system. The apparent aim is to be the first to announce “Mornington Crescent<\/a>“, a station on the\u00a0Northern line.\u00a0<\/sup>Interspersed with the turns is humorous discussion among the panelists and host regarding the rules and legality of each move, as well as the strategy the panelists are using. Despite appearances, however, there are no rules to the game,<\/sup>\u00a0and both the naming of stations and the specification of “rules” are based on stream-of-consciousness association and improvisation.<\/sup>\u00a0Thus the game is intentionally incomprehensible.<\/p>\n
