{"id":388,"date":"2010-06-07T16:43:14","date_gmt":"2010-06-07T23:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mattfife.net\/wordpress\/?p=388"},"modified":"2012-08-13T11:29:52","modified_gmt":"2012-08-13T18:29:52","slug":"goonies-25th-anniversary-at-astoria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mattfife.com\/?p=388","title":{"rendered":"Goonies 25th Anniversary at Astoria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I went out to Astoria with some friends for the Goonies 25th Anniversary festival.\u00a0 Goonies was filmed in Astoria and a few scenes down the road at Ecola State Park.\u00a0 You can still visit the original house:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2087.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2087.jpg?w=200\"  \/><\/a>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2089.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2089.jpg?w=200\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Goon-docks were the festival headquarters &#8211; where I picked up an exceptional hoodie to commemorate the event:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2083.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mattfife.net\/special\/goonies2010\/img_2083.jpg?w=200\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I missed it in the morning, but the actual actor who played Sloth was there in costume at the opening of the new film museum.
