target=\"_blank\">One Best Hike: Grand Canyon: Everything You Need to Know to Successfully Hike from the Rim to the River\u2015and Back<\/a>&#8221; by Elizabeth Wenk. Based on her tips and recommendations, we took the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/grca\/planyourvisit\/upload\/southkaibabtrail.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">South Kaibab Trail<\/a> down, then the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/grca\/planyourvisit\/upload\/brightangeltrail.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Bright Angel Trail<\/a> back up. I highly recommend the book because it details the trail mileposts along with giving you all the training, preparation, and other information you could possibly need. Nearby Lookout Studio (pictured) also affords views, and a gift shop, naturally<br><strong>Highlight from the trail:<\/strong>\u00a0Passing through the Trail of Time with its geology exhibits en route
