When I travel, I often see what movies were filmed at those places and visit the exact location of famous shots. I also love movie props and the interesting furniture and set pieces used to create the mood. Did you know others have the same enjoyment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s some resources if you&#8217;re interested in visiting your favorite movie locations and bits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finding were movies were shot:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.latlong.net\/movies-locations\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.latlong.net\/movies-locations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Latitude and Longitude gives exact lat\/long coordinates<\/a> of tons of movies; especially my favorite spaghetti westerns like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latlong.net\/location\/for-a-few-dollars-more-locations-929\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.latlong.net\/location\/for-a-few-dollars-more-locations-929\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">For a Few Dollars More<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another good site for film locations: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.movie-locations.com\/#\u2028\">https:\/\/www.movie-locations.com\/#<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>US locations for movies: <a href=\"https:\/\/moviemaps.org\/%E2%80%A8\">https:\/\/moviemaps.org\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thennowmovielocations.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.thennowmovielocations.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Now &amp; Then movies<\/a> &#8211; see what shooting locations look like now.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youtube channels are also a great source for finding out where things were shot.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Herve Attia has a number of exactly location films: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/DfuSFwqMIiw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/DfuSFwqMIiw<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adam the Woo seeks out many interesting props and locations: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AdZrKwd33bE\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AdZrKwd33bE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Messy Nessy sometimes goes to interesting locations &#8211; Like this group of locations that inspired several Wes Anderson film locations\/shots: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.messynessychic.com\/2019\/05\/23\/vacationing-with-wes-anderson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.messynessychic.com\/2019\/05\/23\/vacationing-with-wes-anderson\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lots of great filming locations in LA: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverlosangeles.com\/tags\/film-tv-locations\">https:\/\/www.discoverlosangeles.com\/tags\/film-tv-locations<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myershousenc.com\/onsetcinema\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.myershousenc.com\/onsetcinema\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">On Set Cinema<\/a> &#8211; takes you to famous movie locations (mostly horror locations) and often shows the movie and lets you stay at the location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/crystallaketours.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crystallaketours.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visit Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco<\/a> &#8211; Also know in Friday the 13th as Camp Crystal Lake. They have regular tours and sell signed merchandise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sources and places to buy furniture and clothes used in movies:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many films use commercially available furniture.
