Apparently a lot of the chess kids these days are learning new <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hypermodernism_(chess)\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hypermodernism_(chess)\" target=\"_blank\">Hypermodernism<\/a> <\/em>chess techniques. A\u00a0school\u00a0of\u00a0chess\u00a0that emerged after\u00a0World War I. It featured challenges to the chess ideas of central European masters, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wilhelm_Steinitz\">Wilhelm Steinitz<\/a>&#8216;s approach to the\u00a0<dfn>centre<\/dfn>\u00a0and the rules established by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Siegbert_Tarrasch\">Siegbert Tarrasch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/King%27s_Indian_Defence\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/King%27s_Indian_Defence\" target=\"_blank\">Kings Indian Defense<\/a> is one of these new openings.
