Thanks, Matt, this is awesome! Based on info at https://archive.is/faq, I prepend “https://archive.is/newest/” to the full URL (including http…) in an iOS shortcut to have it available as a Share option in Safari. Looks like there are multiple existing extensions for Firefox.
Since I wrote this, I added stripping any “?” and following characters off the URL to remove tracking garbage and get more page hits at archive.is.
