Are you a fan of Bridgerton? Would you like a fancy dress-up night in 1800’s garb? Well! The Queen’s Ball Bridgerton Experience might be for you.
The Queen herself invites you to a once-in-a-lifetime evening of music and dance complete with acrobatic performances, interactive experiences, a stunning dance show, and plenty of surprises.
As guests at this delightful soirée, you will be transported to 1813 London to take part in the most coveted ball of the season. Prepare to mingle with other members of the Ton as you immerse yourself in an evening unlike any you have ever experienced before.

Enjoy a beautiful ballroom decorated in the Regency-era style, interact with actors dressed in exquisite period costumes, savor delicious cocktails, and listen to live music inspired by the iconic Bridgerton soundtrack.
Even more interesting, when you buy your ticket, you get a discount to local costume and clothing providers like Rent the Runway and Ponton costumes so you can fully dress the part.

When visiting Tokyo Tsukiji fish market, you should definitely try some of the freshest sushi in the world. But which spots should you check out?

One of the best 4k walkthroughs of the Tokyo installation from Feb 2022. It’s even more mind blowing in person if that seems possible.
DARK MATTER is an artistic group that does some fascinating and high quality artistic motion and lighting installations.

Fun stuff for this summer!
It looks like ThisIsColossal regularly covers residencies, contests, and grants for creative and artistic creations.
Maybe you can even apply for a residency from Adobe.
Squirrel Eiserloh compares random number generators and noise functions. He does a great job summarizing the pros/cons of each and then shows how the noise functions can replace random number generators and then provide many other benefits (unordered access, better reseeding, record/playback, network loss tolerance, lock-free parallelization, etc) while often being smaller and faster than traditional random number generation.
“Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.”
― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
I remember being blown as a kid when I learned that the further away you look in space – the further back in TIME you look. The furthest objects we have seen were actually objects that existed just a few million years after the big bang. We can actually see the history of our universe by simplying zooming further and further away.
So drink in this amazing look at our universe where distance is looking back in time.
