We like it when we vibe-code your apps, but not when you do it.

It does leave people like Microsoft in a pinch. You want to push how amazing your AI is at generating code and apps; but suddenly realize now everyone can replace your apps with better ones without paying you much of anything.

Or worse, when you fire all your employees and they can all get AI tools like Claude for relatively cheap, or increasingly for free with local LLMs, perhaps your engineers will be the ones going off and making those new companies and ideas – and forget all about you.
